Is this Diana Rivers?

Picture
...Some might say she's inquisitive - and some will say she's just downright nosy! I'm told she's feisty, tenacious and sexy. (The Assassins' Village) She's neither Miss Marple nor Jessica Fletcher. She's her own woman. Bright, forty-ish and with a mind of her own. Since her childhood she's often found herself in tricky situations, sometimes real danger, but somehow she's always come out squeaky clean - so far...

Diana lives in an old stone-house set somewhere in Cyprus and writes books; historical fiction, thrillers, action and romantic suspense among other things. She doesn't go looking for trouble but somehow it always finds her.

The Assassins' Village. Diana's case in Cyprus took place in the village of Aghios Mamas, where the expat and local communities are shaken to the core. Two murders?!

Diana's interest with all things mysterious, involving human and sometimes not so human things started when she was a girl, at a boarding school in Singapore, (The Bamboo Mirror). She enjoys a good mystery and often finds herself siding with the underdog - she sums up most situations with the word; retribution. Diana likes to fight alongside the underdog, that person in the mystery or adventure who is having a hard time - often through no fault of their own. She understands everyone is human and has faults and quirks that are different from the next person. Diana too is human and makes her own mistakes - sometimes bad ones.
Traces of Diana can be found in different periods of her life, when she trod the boards, was at school or just a bare mention,  when she immediately grasps the answer to a query one of her friends, Geraldine asks her. See an anthology of short stories, The Bamboo Mirror.

Children of The Plantation.  Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk
After her hectic and exciting time solving, The Assassin's Village Diana decided to take a holiday in Malaysia with husband, Steve. He's her soul-mate and lover. All is going well until she is asked to take a look at some private memoirs...soon Diana becomes fully embroiled in Children of The Plantation;  She reads about a spooky child, a family drama, mystery, unrequited love, murder, and illicit love - what more can our heroine ask for? Diana enjoys this saga set in 1950's and 1960's Malaysia and also back in the present. She finds war, drama, love and family quarrels all featuring in this exciting story.

The Surgeon's Blade.
Upon the birth of her baby, Poppy, Diana is determined to enjoy her first taste of motherhood. She decides to have a rest from writing until Poppy is a little older. As soon as her infant is a few months old, Diana returns to her mother country, England and stays with a cousin of hers, Robert. Robert is a helicopter pilot, with emotional problems of his own and is involved with a woman, Libby whom he rescued during an accident at sea. He recognises in Libby, a character not unlike his cousin Diana and realises she is just as accident prone. Robert finds that Libby is mixed up with some characters who are perhaps not as they appear to be on the surface. Is Libby in danger when she has an intruder one night, and are there real hints of her being stalked? A series of horrendous attacks on female nursing staff at the hospital where Libby is a ward sister set off a chain of events that reach an exhilarating climax. Who is the attacker? Is it the hospital porter, Peter, Libby's enigmatic and superior surgeon fiance, Nigel or is it long-suffering and emotionally damaged Robert himself...find out more in, The Surgeon's Blade released in January 2012 and reached #1 ON AMAZON.CO.UK and is the #3 most popular down load eBook in the Sunday Mail Magazine!

Due to popular demand I've now put the first three Diana Rivers novels in a 'boxed set' - so if you want to save $/£'s take a look on my book page for links.
