Today is very special for me, because I'm delighted to announce - the release of my fifth romantic drama novel, ~ A VERY ENGLISH AFFAIR.
Many of you know me for my Diana Rivers Mystery Suspense books and my Dark Minds Suspense Thrillers, but edgy, dramatic romance has long been a favourite of mine. I'm certain you'll enjoy, A Very English Affair, set in...England(!) The characters are very human, each having their secrets and problems, just like real-day life. How they sort out their personal worries are unique to each and every one. Early reviewers have told me they laughed, smiled and wept over certain chapters, heeding my warning that having a box of Kleenex close at hand is a must!
Here is a short description of the story:~
Danielle Collingdale is moderately successful in business but hapless in love. Danielle’s world takes an unexpected upturn when handsome and wealthy Christian Douglas enters her ordinary life and sweeps her off her feet into a passionate affair. Within days, their involvement develops from an ardent romance into genuine love. But the lovers seem fated…because while planning their new life together, a catastrophe threatens their devotion, putting their relationship to the ultimate test.
Will this shocking and tearful discovery tear them apart or can they find the strength to overcome their ordeal and live a joyful life?

Faith Mortimer has become one of my favorite authors. Once again she demonstrates her unique ability to create a story within a story making this book a hard one to put down. Rare is the writer who can tug at your heart, awakening emotions while caressing a deep yearning for more. You will truly be overtaken with this book. The twists and turns capture you and you won't be allowed to free yourself until the very last page.

Faith is one of my favorite authors and I downloaded this book as soon as it was available. It is a delightful romance and yet has enough twists and turns in the plot that I read it in one setting because I couldn't put it down. The story takes you on a roller coaster of emotions and I enjoyed every minute of the ride. This is another great read and I definitely recommend it.

Faith Mortimer has written a beautiful love story within the pages of this book. You, the reader will feel every emotion of the characters. You will struggle through every conflict and rejoice in every celebration. This love story is very captivating and realistic. You WILL need the box of tissues!!

Faith writes romance but not in a Mills and Boons way (nothing wrong with Mills and Boons) and although you may think you have worked out who is who and what is what a spanner is then thrown in to the works that makes you gasp out loud.
Danielle is now single again, in her 30’s, the owner of a successful travel agency business. She has no family and few real friends due to her controlling ex boyfriend who leaves her suddenly. Throwing herself into her business she begins to get over her relationship.
Christian and Dominic, two mid-30’s eligible bachelors, Christian a rich, successful yacht designer and Dominic the elder brother, leaves the Navy after 16 years to join his brother in his company.
Set along the South coast of England, the scenery and atmosphere of the River Hamble and the valley and cottages in that part of the world make you want to move there.
A whirlwind romance between Christian and Danielle takes them both aback at the pace and strength of their feelings towards each other. Dominic, the older and wiser brother is sceptical that women only want his brother for his money.
The portrayal of intimacy amongst the couples is written with great care and understanding, demonstrating the close and loving details of a relationship without being crass or crude, some of the best sex scenes I’ve come across lately.
Well done, Faith, another stunner of a book.
