This site, I joined in July 2010. When I loaded my book excerpt of The Assassins Village on here it joined the low ranks at over 8000 on the slush pile. Many readers have since read and reviewed the book and now - it has risen to position number 86 - which is fantastic! I am very proud of this achievement. The carrot of being on authonomy is that the top 5 books every month are taken off and read by the editorial team of Harpers Collins. This could lead to a publishing contract.
