Morning Peeps!
I can’t believe where this year has gone. Looking back through my records, it doesn't seem five minutes since the beginning of summer! The last five months have gone in a flash – summer’s disappeared and we’re now settling in with some fine autumn weather. Summer in Cyprus has been a hot affair this year, and for me at least the drop in temperatures from mid-ninety’s to mid-eighties is wonderful! Apart from a month’s stay in the UK in May/June I’ve been here for the duration, sweltering and trying to write!
Well, I must have achieved something, as this week sees the release of my latest novel, ‘Devil’s Brae’ the #1 in the new ‘Dark Minds’ series and I’m pretty excited about it! You seem to enjoy series and from your feedback I’ve taken all on board and started this one. For those of you who love the Diana Rivers series – don’t worry, a sixth book is already in progress, albeit at an early stage (5000 words written so far).

Imagine a warm autumn afternoon in a remote village in the Scottish Highlands. Cassandra Potter, fleeing from the memories of two traumatic deaths, goes walking alone on Devil’s Brae.
The wild country is empty, stretching for miles in every direction, it is then she sees him.
A dark brooding figure, standing and watching as Cassandra climbs the brae. Apart from a lingering uneasy feeling she ignores the watcher, until the next time and it is then she realises her mistake.
Someone wishes her gone from the village – at all costs.
Cassandra’s life is plunged into danger. Who is threatening her existence and her sanity? Who is the mysterious stranger? An inhabitant of the village of Inverdarroch? Or a person from her clouded past? Above all, why is this happening to her?

Finally, for those romantics among you, and in time for Christmas, I’ll be releasing, ‘On Christmas Hill’ – A Seasonal romance. Again this was a pleasure to write and I think it will be a hit. My romance book, A Very French Affair has been my BEST SELLER in the UK for the last four months – which has shown me I can write romance as well as mystery suspense!

Autumn and Winter are the months when we all like to curl up with a good book, so why not treat yourselves…
