I have just wasted about an hour putting to right the stupid mistakes that I have made on this website! I had somehow deleted my contacts page and could I get it back? All's well that ends well now though.
It's been a funny week. Last Sunday saw me picking up my very first driving ticket in 30 years of driving. Strange how, when your partner tells you not to do something as you'll regret it later, a little inner voice says, ignore him and, well... you know the rest. Later that night I was stung by a very vicious wasp and spent half the night with a swollen hand. Thursday I suffered heat stroke whilst out hashing (running over harsh terrain) in temperatures that would knock Middle Eastern goats over. I should know better I hear you all say. and you are right.
Anyway apart from all the gripes I have had a very productive week on the latest book - The Assassins' Village. I consider myself a good 2/3 through the first write and the ending looks nigh. Quite a few twists and turns, but I think they're all to the good of the story.
I also have had some more reviews for The Crossing that are simply fabulous! Two from magazines that have a good following, more on Amazon.co.uk and some personal notes direct on Twitter, Facebook and here on this website.
In less than 3 weeks we visit the UK and don't forget I shall expect to see some of you at the 2 book signings that I have lined up. Namely Borders, West Quay Southampton and Waterstones, High St Guildford on the 25th and 26th July respectively.
Bring along your copy of The Crossing or buy at the store for your signing.
The website Goodreads is a good find. Masses of friendly people who all share a common love in books. If you don't know about it check it out and get signed up; the information on the site is amazing.
Take care and good reading
Regards
Faith
